TerraCurrent commissions and publishes an annual, third-party assessment of our social and environmental performance. We seek to work with companies taking similar measures against climate change.

Companies affect energy supply and demand. We can source clean energy and improve energy efficiency. In doing so, we can influence supplier networks and inspire similar action in our communities. In the clean energy industry, we are uniquely positioned to deliver solutions to energy insecurity in the US and around the world.
Through our work with Catalyst Off-Grid Advisors, TerraCurrent helped prepare a 2019 research report on energy access financing challenges in three focus countries: Madagascar, the Philippines and Uganda. We seek additional opportunities to tackle energy insecurity.
Achieve Gender Equality and Empowerment for Women
Companies set policies and practices that prevent discrimination and address gender bias. We can create and nurture networking and mentorship opportunities, offer flexibility for working parents, and recruit for diversity at all levels. We can represent women with dignity and acknowledge women’s influence in company materials. We can promote women’s empowerment through advocacy and investment.
TerraCurrent promotes women in the solar industry, advocating to collect and report gender diversity data and provide mentorship. We plan to continually increase our impact on gender equality.
