I worked with Glenna at HelioPower over the course of 5 years. Glenna’s knowledge of marketing is impressive. My sales organization benefited greatly from Glenna’s work to our website, marketing collateral, trade show booth, and mutual collaboration. Glenna is a consummate professional whose work is always on time and on budget. Rather than doing her work in a bubble, Glenna is constantly soliciting interested parties for their input and feedback. Glenna is also well versed in provided the metrics we needed to make sound marketing investments. She is always exploring new marketing avenues to gain customers and market share. Glenna was a great asset to HelioPower and I highly recommend her.
Since 2001, HelioPower has engineered and installed more than 5,000 solar power and clean energy solutions for residential, commercial, community, and utility-scale customers and partners in the United States and worldwide. To help Bob’s Big Boy, a California historic landmark restaurant, celebrate sixty years in business, Heliopower installed a solar project on location in Burbank.
TerraCurrent CEO Glenna Wiseman developed a multi-pronged marketing and public relations campaign called “Sixty and Solar” that communicated Big Boy’s solar installation to the community. This included: building multiple sponsorship and integrated marketing opportunities with companies involved in the installation and within the community; hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony that included Bill Nye the Science Guy; partnering with Habitat for Humanity in San Fernando; and coordinating content across print and digital channels.
Results included media coverage in New York Magazine, ABC7 Los Angeles, KFWB News Talk Radio 980, The Auto Channel, and many local news outlets. The dedication ceremony drew participation from Bill Nye, the Science Guy, as master of ceremonies, special recognition from California State Senator Carol Liu, and a congratulatory message from actor Ed Begley, Jr.
